    Excerpt
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Manila on Tuesday, ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival in time for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit next week. Mr. Wang was met by his counterpart, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario, and later by President Benigno S. C. Aquino III. There was no information on what these gentlemen had discussed as of Tuesday night, but both the Philippines and China have said their dispute over the South China Sea will not be among the agenda in APEC.
