Two towns in this province were hit by a fish kill this week, affecting P21.9 million worth of fingerlings and harvestable milkfish. Bolinao Mayor Alfonso Celeste said 61 fish cages along the Kakiputan Channel in Barangays Tara, Luna and Culang were affected. Abegail Caracas, Bolinao aquaculture technician, said the fish kill started on Tuesday following a heavy downpour.
