    Excerpt
An early morning walk from Molo Plaza to the Iloilo River started the Earth Day celebration for around 150 mostly young people of the city over the weekend. The fun walk was organized by the Student Council Alliance of the Philippines (SCAP) and Akbayan Youth. This was followed by the signing of the declaration expressing concern that government agencies and officials tolerate the wanton violation of existing laws on clean air, biodiversity, coastal resource management and others
