    The Department of Agriculture's National Agribusiness Corp. (Nabcor) has formally turned over a state-of-the-art multifunctional freezer using the revolutionary brine immersion freezing (BIF) technology to small farmers and fisherfolk in Sariaya, Quezon in keeping with the Arroyo government's efforts provide access to modern postharvest facilities that will considerably shave their production plus marketing expenses. The beneficiaries include the Sentrong Pamilihan ng Produktong Agrikultura led by Ariel Manalac, who attended the turnover ceremonies along with Rep. Proceso Alcala.
