Crewmembers of a modified zipper or super hulbot vessel are facing criminal charges for operating in the waters of Brgy. Asluman, Gigantes Island in Carles, Iloilo. The boat captain and 12 crew members were charged with violation of Republic Act 10654 or the act amending Republic Act 8550 (The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998).
