Two marine turtles kept as pets in Sition Lusay, Brgy. Lawi, Jordan town have been rescued and eventually returned back to their natural habitat. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) identified the two marine turtles as a green turtle (Chelonia mydas) and a hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata). DENR immediately conducted investigation.
