    Excerpt
A fishermen's group has decried a recommendation by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRMMC) to impose a no-fishing zone some 400 to 600 kilometers off the shores of certain provinces in anticipation of the South Korean rocket launch on Oct. 26. In its recommendation, the NDRRMC wants to cover some 240,000 square kilometers, which is 540 nautical miles east of the eastern Philippine seaboard, in the fishing ban during "the danger period." The supposed affected areas include Albay, Samar, Leyte and the twin provinces of Surigao.
