Canned tuna exporter Alliance Tuna International, Inc. and its Kiwi-based majority owned unit, Prime Foods New Zealand, have formed a local subsidiary that will engage in the processing and exporting of smoked salmon. Alliance Tuna said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange that the new company, Big Glory Bay Salmon and Seafood Co. Inc., had been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Board of Investments as a new export producer of smoked salmon and its by-products.
