Illegally expanded fishponds at the junction of the Iloilo River and Calajunan Creek in Mandurriao district were issued notices to vacate the waterways. The fishponds impede the flow of water resulting to floods in at least six barangays in the area. Similarly, the fishponds of owner Clarence Corteza of adjoining Lot. No. 2997 will have to be demolished.
