Broadcast practitioners in Capiz are set to hold a mangrove-planting activity here on October 13. According the Kapisanan ng mga Broadkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) - Capiz Chapter President Ely Abarra, the activity, dubbed as KBP-DILG Broadcasting Project 2012, is a partnership of the Department of Interior and Local Government, local governments, and other national government agencies. The project, which will be done by KBP chapters nationwide, aims to advocate and encourage wider involvement and participation in tree planting activities.
