Former Commission on Elections chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr. yesterday asked two Pasay City courts handling the electoral sabotage charges against him for permission to be allowed to travel to Taiwan for four days next month. Abalos asked Pasay City Judges Jesus Mupas and Eugenio dela Cruz to lift the temporary hold departure orders against him, saying him, saying that he wanted to meet personally with prospective investors of his aquaculture business. The 77-year-old Abalos said he wants to keep his aquaculture business going since many people, mostly his employees, depend on it for their livelihood.
