    Excerpt
Residents turned up with fishing rods at the Burnham lake on Sunday to take part in what Baguio oldtimer Virgilio Cruz described as “our first time to fish in these waters legally." Over 200 people signed up to fish for "tilapia," which had been flourishing in the lake's murky waters for five years now, and Japanese koi that the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) introduced three months ago. Most of the participants in the activity had little experience in fishing.
