Authorities assured that they will heed public reactions, complaints, and suggestions to the six-month closure of this island. In fact, some general guidelines that were released earlier have been modified following suggestions from different sectors. One rule is to allow Boracay residents to fish anywhere on the island, except in dive sites, marine protected areas, and snorkeling areas.
