    Excerpt
The youth sector is now one of the prime movers in the city's campaign to protect the Iloilo River. City Executive Assistant Mathilde Octavio said members of the Youth Eco Defender underwent a seminar as a prelude to their participation in the Bantay Suba campaign of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), which starts today. They were joined in the seminar by members of the Bantay Bayan, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
