    Excerpt
Cavite State University-Naic (formerly Cavite College of Fisheries) recently spearheaded the relaunching of the Naic Fish Sanctuary (NFS) Project at CvSU-Naic Eco Park, Bucana, Naic, Cavite. The NFS project is one of the community-based coastal resources management projects established under the leadership of PRRM in October 2003. Its foremost objective is to improve the fisherfolks' livelihood through increase in the productivity of the coastal resources. In attendance were members of the coastal community and representatives from different sectors whose efforts are in line with the development and conservation of coastal resources and the environment, in general.
