The Cebu Provincial Anti-Illegal Fishing Task Force (CPAIFTF) Team Pukot apprehended five commercial fishing vessels operating in a protected seascape off the municipal waters of a southern Cebu town. Four of the seized vessels violated a special law for fishing within the Tañon Strait Protected Seascape in Samboan town, said CPAIFTF Fields Coordinator Joefrey Merencillo.
