    Twenty-six products have raised suggested retail prices (SRP) as of May 4 as manufacturers could no longer hold off the adjustments, according to Ruth Castelo, undersecretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Twelve out of 23 stock keeping units (SKUs) of sardines are raising their SRPs, the third batch of sardine products whose prices have gone up in six months. the price of sardines has gone up to a range of P13.25 to P17.75 per 155-gram can reflecting an increase of between P0.50 and P1.70 per can.
