President Duterte has sacked Jose Antonio Goitia, executive director of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC), following reports of alleged anomalies in the agency. Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo made the announcement late yesterday afternoon while the Chief Executive was leading the awarding ceremonies for recipients of the 2019 Outstanding Government Workers in Malacañang. “The Palace announces the termination of the appointment of Mr. Jose Antonio E. Goitia as the executive director of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission,” Panelo said.
