    Excerpt
Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon yesterday expressed hope the chamber would be more active in tackling the West Philippine Sea issue in the incoming 18th Congress. Drilon said he was dismayed that the committee on foreign relations during the 17th Congress from 2016 to 2019 mostly "ignored" the issue. "Nakakalungkot po na hindi ito pinansin ng comittee on foreign relations noong nakaraang Kongreso (It's saddening that this was ignored by the committee on foreign relations during the past Congress)," Drilon said in a raio interview.
