    Excerpt
Local officials of Baybay village here are worried that alleged illegal fishing activities might destroy the beach line. Village chief Rey Magallanes of Barangay Baybay said the presence of some fishermen who use "pukot" nets in pulling fishes to the beach might scour the flat beach area. Since the beach is shallow, the boats propellers will dig into the beach (kantilado).
