3 farm-to-market roads completed in Lake Sebu

Three farm-to-market roads and two bridges have been completed in the town of Lake Sebu, which is seen to primarily benefit farmers in the village of Ned. “With these projects, transport of goods and other farm products to the market center becomes safe, fast, and convenient; benefitting the agricultural barangay of Ned which is home to the indigenous T’bolis, Tirurays, Ubos, and Manobos,” Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) South Cotabato 2nd District Engineer Khalil Sultan said in a statement. The five new infrastructure, with a total cost of P150.9 million, were funded under the Department of Agriculture’s Mindanao Sustainable Agrarian and Agriculture Development (MinSAAD) Program.
