Petron Corp. yesterday said that the waters in several areas in Tanza, Cavite affected by the oil spill can still sustain life. Petron, which earlier took responsibility for the oil spill incident last August 8, said that sampling were done in 10 areas in Tanza, Cavite, including two marine sactuaries. Th oil spill incident at the firm's terminal in Rosario, Cavite involved diesel fuel being unloaded at the facility during that time.
