    Excerpt
Oil giant Petron Corp. on Thursday said 10 areas in Tanza, Cavite, where sea water had been tested were suitable for marine life. The company told the Philippine Stock Exchange that the water in the 10 areas, including that in two marine sanctuaries, had enough oxygen to support fish and other forms of life a week after diesel spilled into the area. "We will continue to monitor and test the quality of the soil, water and marine life in the areas that may be affected [by the spill," the company said.
