    Excerpt
The Bureau of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has lifted on Thursday the three-month fishing ban on sardines and related species in the southwestern part of the country. However, operators of commercial fishing vessels here said they do not expect "good catch" in the coming weeks. "Yes. We have lifted the ban today," Bureau Director Asis G. Perez, who is currently in France, told BusinessWorld in a phone interview.
