Airport authorities seized some P2.5 million worth of smuggled live bangus (milk fish) fry that came in separate flights from Indonesia, Malaysia Singapore and Hong Kon. Col. Marlon Alameda, Bureau of Customs Enforcement and Security Service District 3 commander, said on Sunday that the goods were immediately brought to the PairCargo and Miascor warehouses after the shipment arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Air and Malaysia Airlines on Saturday. Alameda quoting fisheries personnel said that some 450,000 bangus fisherlings were contained in 210 styro-boxes.
