    Excerpt
I almost choked on my tea while reading a press release from the Chinese Embassy in Manila - whoever wrote this must've had difficulty keeping a straight face. It gave its "account" of events that transpired on June 9, 2019 when a Chinese fishing boat hit and left Filipino fishermen in the waters near Recto Bank. (The interview with F/B GEMVIR1 Captain Junel Insigne by journalist Jeff Canoy is especially chilling in this regard - according to Insigne, the Chinese fishing boat circled to see if their boat was really sinking, then left.)
