Four fishermen were rescued after their boat capsized in the waters off Cebu, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)said yesterday. Eric Campo, 45; Hoven Gasalatan, 33; Jonas Padillo, 28, and Jaypee Gasalatan, 21, all of Tanke, Talisay, Cebu, told authorities that a squall destroyed their boat on Saturday night. The fishermen drifted for 12 hours before they were rescued by the PCG’s BRP Suluan, led by Cmdr. Dann August Cariño.
