Eighty Aetas in Boracay could qualify as beneficiaries should President Rodrigo Duterte pushes through his plan to put the island resort under the land reform program, said the Malacañang. “Following the President’s instruction to prioritize indigenous people, there are possibly eighty individuals from the Aeta village in Boracay Island who could qualify as agrarian reform beneficiaries subject to screening,” Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said on Friday.
