    The "ISDA" Fisheries Technology Caravan" was a month-long cross-country technology transfer of the latest breakthroughs in fish breeding, production, and food processing of seaweeds and other aquatic products. It was implemented by the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based in Tigbauan, Iloilo, and Los Baños-based Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (DOST-PCAMRD). The opening ceremonies of the project were held at the DA Bureau of Soils and Water Management in Quezon City.
