For aquaculturists in dire need of reference materials for their ventures, here's some good news. The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec AQD) recently launched four aquaculture manuals: Mudcrab production in brackishwater ponds, Grouper culture of tilapia in dams and small reservoirs, all authored by Dan Baliao and his colleagues. A second edition of the manual "Diseases of penaeid shrimps in the Philippines" by CL Pitogo et al., was the fourth book launched.
