The first, Management of sustainable aquafarming systems, (July 5), was attended by twenty Asians coming from Brunie, Vietnam, Singapore, ad Sri Lanka (1 each) from Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand (2 each) and from the Philippines (10_ Topics on resource assessment and management, mangrove-friendly aquaculture and coastal ecosystem and biodiversity are included in the course. Likewise, management topics on aquaculture economics, personnel management, marketing, regional code for responsible aquaculture, and preparation ad feasibility study and case study analysis are also in the curriculum.en
