Dried seahorses are reported to be priced expensively. In Hong Kong, it is sold at $1.200 for a kilo. However, it is not only the dried seahorses that are sold. The live ones are also exported to the USA, Europe, Japan, and Taiwan as part of the global ornamental trade in marine fishes.
