FishWorld, a museum, aquarium and ecopark rolled into one, opens last July 7 at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC). Three years in the making, FishWorld, is the first of its kind in Western Visayas, if not the Philippines. Unlike any marine-science or private aquarium show, FishWorld is not a commercial venture but a place to learn about water coastal ecosystems, biodiversity, fisheries and aquaculture.
