Scientists and other research staff of Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec/AQD) are adamant in their call for the ouster of AQD Chief Dr. Rolando Platon as they vowed to continue their protest actions in case Platon proceeds with his fifth term two weeks from now. They made the statement at their picket line in front of the Museo Iloilo after their group, who comprise the Concerned Scientists and Employees of Seafdec/AQD (Csesa), met with representatives of the Research and Development Advisory Committee (RDAC), the body formed by Department of Agriculture to assess the department's thrusts and priorities in the light of budgetary constraints, in Iloilo City yesterday.
