In his column (Business World, March 18, 2004), Mr. Bernardo V. Lopez asks: "Is Lorenzo helpless to clean up the Jalajala mess because his indersecretary is the brother of a senator in GMA's party?" I would like to assue Mr. Lopez that everything about the relationship between Meralco Foundation, Inc. (MFI) and SEAFDEC Aquaculture Department and the newly extablished Aquaculture-Based Countryside Development Enterprises Foundation, Inc. (ABCDE Foundation) is above board and there is no mess that needs to be cleaned up in Jalajala.
