Professional and personal abuses by Platon and cohorts have accumulated since 1996. Having exhausted all rational means to address internal management issues, protesters are therefore left with no recourse but to defend themselves by taking the issues to the streets. Little does Bagarinao realize that the small fires burning in AQD, which Platon has ignored over the years, might turn into one huge conflagration, ruining the scientific culture that AQD has built and that society in general needs to advance.
