The management of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec/AQD) has called for sobriety amid the ongoing protest actions of its scientists and other research staff seeking the outster of Seafdec/AQD chief, Dr. Rolando Platon. The Concerned Scientists and Employees of Seafdec/AQD (Csesa) is holding another picket in front of the department's headquarters at Tigbauan at 9 a.m. today along with a group of barangay residents. The group, which is still protesting Platon's fifth term which will start next month, is now accusing the Seafdec/AQD chief being involved in "anomalous deals" that "put AQD at a disadvantage.
