    Excerpt
Vice President Leni Robredo pressed the administration to demand from the Chinese government the turnover of the crew that manned the fishing vessel that rammed the Filipino fishermen's boat F/B Gem-Ver last June 9. She urged the Department of Foreign Affairs to demand from the Chinese government to find those responsible and recognize Philippine jurisdiction "so they can face trial before our courts.". Robredo expressed "deepest outrage" over the incident and condemned what she called "the irresponsible actions of the Chinese crew involved in the incident.
