    The carcass of a young female sperm whale found dead at Tabgon village in Caramoan town last October 5 underwent necropsy to determine the cause of death and to preserve the skeleton for scientific display to the public. The young female sperm whale, measuring 7.5 meters and weighing approximately 7-8 metric tons or 8,000 kilograms, is the ninth stranded marine mammal in Bicol waters or the 94th case in the country, Nonie Enolva, Bureau of Fisherie Aquatic Resources regional spokesman said.
