A squall hit another Guimaras boat. But this time it was a fishing boat, according to the Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO). The boat’s two fishermen, a father and son, survived. They were residents of Barangay Poblacion, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. A squall or sudden gust of violent wind and heavy rains lasting for several minutes rocked the boat until it capsized in the waters of Barangay Lawi, Jordan, Guimaras facing the Iloilo Strait yesterday at around 4:30 a.m.
