    Excerpt
Philippine fish production will likely increase if local fishermen will hike their yield in the municipal water, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said. BFAR said municipal waters are productive part of the sea that can produce and supply adequate fish for Filipino consumers. At the Philippines Journey to Sustainable Fisheries Forum recently, BFAR National Director Eduardo Gongona said municipal fishing could boost the national fish production and generate more income and employment.
