Agri, livestock expo seeks to level up farmers' technology adoption

“We need to equip our farmers, fisherfolk, processors and livestock raisers on how to market, process and to ensure that their products can compete with our neighbors in South East Asia,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III during the opening of the expo at Iloilo Convention Center in Mandurriao. Rhea Christina Resol, senior agriculturist of the Department of Agriculture (DA) 6, stressed that there is a need to improve agri facilities to ensure the competitiveness of agricultural and fishery products in Western Visayas.
