    Excerpt
Six residents of Caluya, Antique were rescued from a distressed fishing boat while they were traveling home off Aklan waters. The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) identified the rescued passengers as 22-year-old Victor Domingo, 32-year-old Ivan Magcalay, 27-year-old Evelyn Domingo, 23-year-old Jerry Vicente, and two minors – they were all residents of Sibolo Island, Caluya. According to PCG, they were all onboard the fishing boat “Damafe” when the vessel suddenly went dead on water due to engine malfunction on May 9.
