The Iloilo-Batiano River Development Council passed a resolution requesting the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) to be its member during a session at the Iloilo City Hall Penthouse, August 10, 2018. According to City Administrator Atty. Hernando Galvez, they requested the PRA to aid in restoring the environment affected by reclamation. “Actually the non-compliance of PRA in executing the law is the cause of flooding because sirado ang iban naton nga suba, the bodies of water.” he said.
