    Excerpt
The Senate has finally made known its predilection to put in order the ongoing national conversation on the South China Sea, by conducting a public inquiry on the current foreign policy issues bedeviling the trouble-prone area. Several resolutions from opposition senators have been filed in the Senate calling for a public hearing, but the foreign relations committee led by Sen. Loren Legarda has not scheduled a probe yet. She said she will hold one, together with the defense and security committee of Sen. Greg Honasan.
