    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Western Visayas said the region continues to produce sufficient volume of sardines. BFAR regional director Remia Aparri said there is no need to worry about the shortage of sardines because its supply is more than the demand of consumers. “Wala kita sang dapat kahangaw-an because of our campaign during closed season sang sardines. As of today 123-percent fish sufficient, that’s our record. May ara kita nga surplus nga 23 percent,” she added.
