    Ilongga Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago was among the first to dine and taste tilapia fromm the first harvest of Seafdec-CPEU-BFAR (Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Central Panay Economic Unification, Inc.-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources) project. This was during the induction of CPEU offices last September 27 in Tapaz, Capiz where the Ilongga senator was the guest of honor. Tilapia cage culture in San Julian dam is the collaborative project of CPEU with Seafdec and BFAR.
