After decades of changing leadership, the Municipality of Tigbauan, a town in southern Iloilo, has finally acquired its own long-dreamed payloader and a dumptruck. As observed, during good weather conditions, the town has enough supply of fish for local consumption. The produce can be purchased from the local fishermen's catch in municipal waters. The presence of Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) in the town's vicinity has also bolstered the image of the municipality.
