    Excerpt
Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) recommended to multisectoral delegates the grouper or Lapu-Lapu culture during a field day Friday at its Western Visayas Technology Promotion Center in Brgy. Pulao, Dumangas, Iloilo. SEAFDEC/AQD head Dan B. Baliao said that grouper culture has considerations for success, namely, funds, ponds, facilities, technical know-how and supervision. Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) already offered its financial support while SEAFDEC and University of the Philippines in the Visayas (UPV) and Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF) technicians are giving free consultations.
