The University of the Philippines in the Visayas (UPV) had given its all out support to the 1st Field Day of the Western Visayas Technology Promotion Center held last October 15 at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec) Aquaculture Station in barangay Punta Bulao, Dumangas, Iloilo. Floredo Casuela, Landbank president and chief executive officer, gave the keynote message which revolved around the Technology Promotion Center's (TPC) vision of making credit and viable technologies to farmers, fisherfolk and small and medium entrepreneurs with the end view of generating greater returns.
